Workspace Cleanliness
Distinctive Drywall will take extreme measures to maintain a clean and neat work environment. If Distinctive Drywall does not meet all of the following commitments, they we will return 10% of the contract price, up to $1,000. In addition, Distinctive Drywall will pay to have the entire house cleaned.
Floors will be covered with rosin paper to ensure cleanliness.
All affected work areas will be sealed with plastic to help contain dust.
Poly, drop clothes, or carpet mask will always be used when working on or above finished surfaces.
Existing windows, casing, base, and other trim work will be masked off prior to taping process.
Heating, cooling, and air exchange systems will be shut off during drywall installation and sanding stages to minimize fine dust particles getting carried to other parts of the house.
Dustless joint compound will be used to help minimize airborne dust particles.
All debris will be removed from the job site daily.
At job completion, the following will be completed: Rosin paper will be removed. Corners, light boxes, and window sills will be vacuumed. Windows, fireplace surrounds, and tubs will be clean and free of drywall mud. All outside areas, including driveways, steps, and sidewalks will be inspected and cleaned appropriately, leaving no trace of the work except finished drywall.
On-Time Appointments
Distinctive Drywall respects a homeowner's time and understands the importance of being punctual. If a Distinctive Drywall team member is late to a scheduled appointment, they will pay a homeowner $5 per minute for every minute late, up to $300.
If a job is scheduled for 8 a.m., Distinctive Drywall will arrive at 8 a.m., guaranteed.
If a job is scheduled any time after 10 a.m., Distinctive Drywall provides a two−hour window for arrival.
On-Schedule Drywall Services
Once Distinctive Drywall schedules a start date and a completion date, they will meet that commitment to give homeowners the ability to confidently schedule other trades. If Distinctive Drywall does not meet all of the following commitments, they we will return 10% of the contract price, up to $1,000.
Once a start date is scheduled, Distinctive Drywall guarantees to start on that date.
Once a completion date has been agreed upon, Distinctive Drywall guarantees to have the drywall phase complete on that date.
If any situations occur that are out of Distinctive Drywall's control, such as inadequate heating, high humidity, or changes to the scope of work, Distinctive Drywall will immediately communicate the need for schedule adjustments.
Fans and dehumidifiers will be used to aid the drying process as needed, to stay on schedule.
All service calls, including change orders, add−ons, etc., will be started within 48 hours of request.
All bids will be returned within 48 hours of on−site consultation.

If there is a workmanship issue, Distinctive Drywall guarantees to have a team member on site within 24 hours to address the situation.
